Adding a webmaster link to your footer In
an effort to make it easier for visitors to our web sites to have
someone to contact about the site we have added a way to have a
webmaster email link on each page of the web site. A single webmaster
can be added to the site home page or any section can have it's own
webmaster. The principal could be the contact for most of the site and
a teacher could be the webmaster for their web page. The following are
instructions for adding a webmaster. 1. Log in to your web site administration 2. Edit your home page. 3. Click on the "Display Settings" link on the laft column. 4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the Webmaster email address box. 5. Add the outside email address of your webmaster. The form of the address will be like george.adams@spps.org 6. Save the changes 7. View your site and check that Webmaster link appears in the footer. Click the link and see if it opens an email program and creates a message to the webmaster. |
