Special Characters
To add special characters to your urbanPlanet web site you need to create the pages on a Mac and not edit them on a PC. Opening and saving the page in a PC will wipe out the codes.
When you have a page just right I suggest that you copy the text and save it in a text document so if the page is edited on a PC and the special characters are wiped out you will have a copy that you can paste back in place.

Some examples follow;

á aacute &# 0225 ;
ñ ntilde &# 0241 ;
õ otilde &# 245 ;
¿ INVERTED QUESTION MARK &# 0191 ;

Go to the web page below to get a chart of other characters.
Find the character you want to display in the first column of the yellow chart. Find the number in the fifth column, U-dec,
To insert the character in a web page type an ampersand followed by a pound sign followed by a number followed by a semi-colon.
