Add UsersModifier or PublisherAdd Users
- In administration, click on the Security tab
- Click on add user(far right)
- Fill in Username and Password fields
- Select Access radio button
SuperUser will have access to all of the administration tabs including Security. Publisher and Modifier will not have access to the Security tab.
- Click on Access (under User on left)
- Select sections that user will be able to access
- Click on Save
- Click on the red button to turn the user on

Modifier or Publisher
A Modifier who has been given access to a particular section:
- Can add an item to that section.
- Can edit any item on that section.
- Does not have on/off buttons. Someone with Publisher rights would need to turn the item on for it to be viewed on the site.
- Cannot del any section or item.
- Cannot edit the Section Introduction
- Cannot change the Configuration (Display Settings, Security, Moving & Sorting Sections).
A Publisher who has been given access to a particular section:
- Can add/edit/del any part of that section.
- Can turn on the section so that it can be viewed (published) on the site. |
